Screw it.
We’re getting out of Dodge. We’re evacuating to the far, northwestern outskirts of Dodge, where we’ll be safe.
Here’s my plan:
1. Within two hours – Get out of work and go pick up my kids.
2. Tonight – Try to procure some groceries.
3. Tomorrow – Pack up our valuables, which includes computers, game consoles, games, and photos.
4. Tomorrow night – Drive to my bf’s sister’s house.
5. Friday – Be safe and play video games.
6. Saturday – Remain safe and play more video games.
7. Sunday – Come home and hope it’s still here.
I don’t think the storm will reach our apartment but, as commenters below remind me, BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.
Here’s hoping everyone else gets to a safe place in plenty of time.
