Here are the instructions:

1. If you want to participate, leave a comment below saying “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by asking you five questions – each person’s will be different. I’ll post the questions in the comments section of this post.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview others in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Here are the questions that Flesh von Wintoor asked me.

1. Name one moment that you would like to relive exactly as it happened and why.

Is it too early to bust out with a crass, sex-related answer? It is? Okay, then I’m going to have to say it was the last time I was sitting on the beach with my kids. And the relived moment would end several moments before it was time to unsuccessfully clean the sand off ourselves and get back into the car.

2. If you had to name one CD/Artist/Song/Genre that you feel captures the general spirt of you, what would it be and why?

Oh, my god. First of all, I love music so much, it makes me sick. I love it so much that I refuse to discuss it with people anymore, because most people don’t love music as much as I do or, if they do, they often have taste that differs from mine and then they want to make me like Everything But the Girl, and I won’t, and then they snub my Pavement CDs, and I secretly think there’s something wrong with them, and then, that’s it. I decide not to talk to anyone about music anymore. But, the real point of this paragraph was supposed to be that I can’t decide on only one CD/Artist/Song/Genre, because I am a woman of many moods.

However, I can tell you that, of all the musical instruments in the world, the one that captures the general spirit of me best is probably the vibraphone.

3. How do you take your coffee? And if you don’t drink coffee… how do you get the all-necessary caffeine-buzz?

One fifth of the container must be half-and-half. Into the half-and-half, a lot of cinnamon and a relatively high ratio of Splenda must be shaken. If there is nutmeg, a bit of that should be added, too. The remaining four fifths of the container should be filled with coffee, preferably flavored (Einstein Brothers’ Vanilla Hazelnut Bakery Whatever Blend is good) and never decaf. The end.

4. If you went back to high school knowing what you know now, how would that affect things, or would it?

I would go to a different high school, actually do my homework, take all the opportunities for travel and internships that I passed up, have better boyfriends, and lose my virginity to someone experienced and appreciative. Also, I might dye my hair green, since I now know I’ll never again have the chance to get away with it.

5. Do you believe in reincarnation? Why or why not?

I don’t actively believe in it, since I don’t bother to actively believe in any kind of afterlife at all. But I do like to imagine that reincarnation happens, because everyone, higher powers included, should recycle.
