At this moment, what is your favorite…
1. …song?
Right at this second, it’s “No Matter What You Do” by Benni Benassi. Last week it was “Toxic” by Britney Spears. Next week it will probably be something by Underworld.
2. …food?
Last month it was the green chicken curry at Thai Pepper. Last year it was the tiger eye rolls at Sake. Right now, I don’t know. Really good beef pad thai with lots of lime juice. Yes, that’s what I feel like eating right now. From Nit Noi.
3. …tv show?
The only TV show I bother to watch anymore is Kung Faux.
4. …scent?
Lime. No… my favorite scent is that of my boyfriend, Tad. Isn’t that disgusting? He smells like Sumo hair wax by Bumble & Bumble, plus some sort of Neutrogena product, plus something indefinable that comes right out of his smooth beige skin.
5. …quote?
I don’t have a favorite quote. I don’t put quotes in email signature lines. I don’t use quotes on my Web site. When I hear quotes that are clever or amusing, I can’t repeat them later because I can’t remember the words exactly the way they were quoted.
This is me: “Yeah – remember how that chick – that writer – you know, the one who rewrote that fairy tale – her name starts with an A – remember how she said that stuff about how women are always totally getting shafted but they just take it? And how that sucks but it’s okay because we can take it? And some day a real rain will come and wash away the scum, the filth of the earth? Yeah… that’s my favorite quote.”
