I saw a pair of those in the window at Urban Outfitters last week and it was like running into an old friend with whom I had been wanting to reunite for twenty-five years. I know They say “If you wore it the first time, you’re too old to wear it when it’s retro,” but They just don’t like the idea that we still look good in that shit. On Sunday I’m thinking of putting on a rayon floral-print dress with combat boots, because I’m going to a damn Hole show, and They can’t stop me.
