happy new year
School’s almost ready to start again, so it sort of feels like a new year. Instead of buying myself school supplies, I’m going to make a list of resolutions. This school year, I resolve to:
- quit being a psycho magnet or, failing that, quit letting psychos affect my life.
- quit being so freaking insecure about the way I look. Jesus.
- do what I want to do, instead of worrying all the time about what other people want me to do.
- enjoy, without guilt or paranoia, all the good things in my life for which I’ve worked so hard.
- relax.
- read mo’ bettah books.
- do some more readings around town.
- kick butt at my job.
- save up some money.
- be the best mother I can humanly be.
- answer all the e-mails in my Inbox.
That’s all. You think that’s enough? Yeah, me too.
